Ok folks, here is question #2 from me on my new OS X setup -
First I installed OS X 10.0.3, then the 10.1 upgrade, then the 10.1.5 update.
Everything seemed fine, but on booting into 10.1.5, I get the spinning beachball in the upper left corner. It remains there even after the system is fully booted, just spinning away. Everything else works properly, and I can load, run do whatever I choose, just with a spinning beachball staring me in the face. Its even there when the screensaver kicks in!
Arghhh!!!
Any suggestions or clues as to the cause of this?
And how to make it go away?
A pin to pop it?
