Can't get iSync to work help!

Trying to sync w/ mac and my iPod yields this error:

(null)
Assertion Failed!
Expression: IsOpen()
File: Source/f1shared/f1clog.cpp
Line: 575

Any thoughts...

Have you updated your iPod to version 1.2? iPod Software 1.2 is required for iSync.

if you disable .mac it works ok for me with the iPod

Same here. Even happens if I disable .mac and just try to do an iPod sync.

I did see a post on the Apple message boards indicating that people who had installed the leaked Carracho iSync encountered this error when they tried to sync. If you did, you might want to delete *all* relevant files before installing the public release.

Not to say that those who never downloaded the leaked one cannot have the error also - just covering all the bases here...
