View Full Version : what happened to setting the contrast in the display calibrator?

I remember that there used to be a contrast setting in the calibrator, make the light oval the same color as tha dark oval, etc. That is no longer an option for me, and in the meantime, either my settings are totally out f whack or the supposed "blue" in iCal to makr "today" is only supposed to be faintly visible to someone using an LCD if they tilt the monitor nearly horizontal. That's what's happeneing to me.

Use SuperCal (http://www.bergdesign.com/supercal) ;)

It's definitely worth spending a good half-hour or so with SuperCal, as you can really fine-tune the settings to get the most out of your display.

Give it a try, or try using the profile I created here (http://homepage.mac.com/lwernham/.Pictures/Pismo.icc) (Ctrl-click and select 'download to disk') and see the difference. :)
