Apps for traveling outdoors

Hi guys! I just want to ask if you could suggest apps that are used for traveling, trips outdoors and the like. I already have the GPS thing and some compass but could you suggest of other apps that I could use while running, walking etc.? Thanks!

I heard about My Nature Animal Track app and I think it looks great for travelers especially on the woods because it tracks wild animals in the area you're in. Sad part is it isn't free but all worth it if you're always on the go and will be needing this app most of the time.
