ios7 jailbreak ipad mini - installed apps

Hello, I'm a newbie here and a newbie with ipad mini (apple products). Yesterday i installed the IOS7 Jailbreak on my ipad mini. I can download and install from Cydia but I can't open the app once it is installed. Is there a setting that I'm not enabling or something I need to change to allow the newly installed app(s) to run?

Many jailbreak apps haven't been updated to run on iOS 7 yet. Check here regularly:

This is good to know. I thought I may need to restore and then re-do the jailbreak.
