I'm loving my MacOS X except I miss using Netscape Communicator.

Has someone already compiled its open source for MOSX?

There's no mention of it at mozilla.org and I'm not sure I understand how to do it from scratch...

It's not that simple. There are two projects at Mozilla.org:

Yellow Box - http://www.mozilla.org/ports/rhapsody/

Carbon - http://www.mozilla.org/ports/fizzilla/

As you will notice from their pages, neither works right now but will eventually. The Carbon port is more likely since it will allow Netscape to deploy to MacOS 8.1 and higher by tweaking existing code, instead of the Yellow port which is a complete rewrite.

Past that, I am clueless as to what "linux version that (carbon/yellowbox)" means. http://forum.macnn.com/cgi-bin/smile.gif
