Does Voodoo3 work on OS X?

I have come into the position of buying a used 9500 (with G3/400 upgrade), which has no video card. I have a "spare" Voodoo3 2000 which I could use on it, but I also planned on running OS X on this machine (eventually) and making it a server.

Can I use OS X (at least as far as DP4 currently goes, the beta will probably have extra support, right?) with a Voodoo3?

... and as a followup, if a Voodoo3 doesn't work, what does? ixMicro? Rage Orion/Nexus?

I have the same card you speak of, and it work flawlessly. Same goes with Linux, no problems either way, no 2d accel. of course http://forums.macnn.com/cgi-bin/smile.gif
