Will the USB extentions for perpherials
be incorporated in OSX or will updates need to be downloaded from each manufacturer?

While OS X won't be using "extentions", new drivers will be necesarry. And unless Apple plans on including drivers for every Mac-compatible device in existence, I guess downloading new ones will be the thing to do.

Likely, Apple will only ship support for the base systems and addons it ships with its computer systems, so the mouse and keyboard and SuperDisk? Who knows. We'll have a better idea for sure when we get closer to ship date.
