It sounds like an electronic chirping sound that emits from the tower everytime certain actions are performed. It does not make the sound when the computer just sits there idle.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions? I've tried all of the above with no success. It's frustrating when I can connect using Virtual PC and I can't through FINDER on the same machine.
