It's crashing regularly for me, and I don't have pithelmet installed. I'm using safariblock and acidsearch, so it's presumably one of those - looks like there's a more general problem with plugins...

Strange - the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Copy and paste were grayed out in some applications but not others - Mail could copy/paste, but Safari and Texshop couldn't. It happened...

Ghostscript can convert eps to pdf from the command line. If you install TeXShop you can avoid the command line altogether - dropping a postscript file on the TeXShop icon automatically converts it....

Hmmm ... that's odd. I'm using today's build (2002120604), and double-clicking on the downloaded file opens it under preview, but still chimera insists on acrobat. I deleted my user.js and prefs.js...
