You should check out FormZ v4.0 from auto-des-sys here (http://www.formz.com/). It is a brilliant modeller and visualization tool for architecture and industrial design, its been on the mac for years...

I think it's unlikely, but perhaps Apple is trademarking some of the names preemptively - to prevent others from "getting on the feline bandwagon" so to speak.
