The first two are useless gimmicks IMO, Dashboard even more than Exposé.
Spotlight is a nice technique but in some aspects much worse than the old Find function.

I think I expierience some of the same problems. From time to time the inventory gets messed up, mostly the game crashes shortly after that (had it three or four times), or I can't speak to anybody...
