I recommend a leather or canvass band. PVC/rubber will get brittle and spilt after a while (several years), and velcro becomes useless in several months...

I'd duplicate your accout. Call it ISP-1 and ISP-2 or whatever. Same incoming settings, but different outgoing/SMTP configs.

It's not going to trash email messages unless you direct it to, so if you don't want the emails, trash them.

Mail.app uses the mbox format. Messages are stored in there. Working in Mail's...
