I doubt you'll see a G5 PowerBook soon, so if you need that level of processing power, I'd suggest a desktop. You can, as you state, get desktop replacement PC laptops with considerable processing...

I agree Hidan...if I could only change one thing, it'd be the screen. Although you do get used to it, I can still remember my first impression was not very good at all compared to my UXGA Thinkpad...

Just confirmed it here. I set line spacing at 2.0, saved as Microsoft Word document, opened in Mac Word 2004, and line spacing was gone. I haven't confirmed if this is also true with Win Word however.
