No, its cause OS X uses so many more system files, and the OS wasn't writen to reduce disk usage. So the OS uses the HD alot more often then OS 9 did.

Thats actually taped to a external HD, the fan on it died and so I opened the case (They run 24-7, so I need to make sure it doesn't overheat) and I didn't want to electricute anyone at work :D

I wouldn't really think so, since it is alot of HD access, and laptop HDs are, in general, slower to save juice.

Also, I accidently had a DVD when I did that one, so it is actually about 75
