I'm syncing both my 12" PB and G4 desktop, both with airport cards installed utilizing AirPort Extreme. Works like a charm, then some. Sweet setup really.

When I first got my 12" PB in May, the fan came on periodically when it became hot, but soon after installing the 10.2.6 update it rarely comes on anymore. It's all good.
