think about how much that bandwidth would cost for the 3-4cds.
1.5gb x all the students and developers=whole lotta bandwidth...

the cost is probably on par with printing and mailing cds.

But there is no way (at least on my box [G4 450/ 768mb]) that it is slower than 9.02 in running classic. Classic is a dog. 10 on X is at least useable.

installed osx right over a "dirty" copy of os9... disk errors and everything.

works fine. speed is a little sluggish, but illustrator8 and photoshop are useable...
