Buy more memory, that's a good one :) My G4/733 has 1 Gigabyte of memory like I mentioned in my post before. I guess that's more then adequate.

My disk with MacOS 10.1 is erased before installing and the disk with MacOS 9.2.1 was defragmented with Speeddisk (Norton 6) so I am guessing that not the case and memory is also not the cause...
