i never got aproper dvd from avi files, i tried to burn some tv shows in both toast and idvd, both took forever to encode, ya couldnt fit much on the disc and they ended up being a frame rate...

for me any kind of avi takes ages to encode in toast and then i get video on the dvd that has less than half waht it should for frame rate. annoying divx is sumthin pcs actually do right :brick:

I have repaired permissions. A clean install is to drastic for my tastes. I don't use konfabulator or virex and my disc isn't encrypted. As for the RAM i would think 512 would be sufficient...
