Its called a Thinkpad. I've done it without a problem. Hell I had the whole laptop fall off the fender of my car and land corner first on cement while using an ODB2 scan tool and the machine was fine...

in the future, use TrueCrypt 3,152 Views / 18 Replies  
I've found TrueCrypt to be a far better solution then FileVault.

Its fast, compact and is open source. Its free too - best part about it.
