I recently deleted my Facebook account and deleted the app from all my devices, but I regularly get a pop-up request for a Facebook password on my iPhone and iPad mini. Please help me figure out how...

A similar discussion on the Apple Discussion pages directed my attention to this: http://www.apple.com/imac/software.html

Notice on the right side of the page, it mentions the magnetic mount for...

So far, I have not heard from anyone who has actually used this magnetic mount with an iMac G5. I'm skeptical. Wouldn't that strong magnet pose a threat to the internal hard drive? The iSight user...

Re: Why is this man so angry at the new iMac? 2,187 Views / 29 Replies
Anyone notice that he said NOTHING about what this hideous thing can do? All he can do is make fun of what it looks like. That's just a matter of taste, and clearly, this guy has none.

Sure...

The original poster of the "Elevator" pics of the supposed new iMac has come clean. It was a hoax. A 20" LaCie LCD monitor in a Powerbook box. Let us rest assured, the new iMac will be much more...

If this ends up being the new iMac, I will be very disappointed. This has none of the style that Apple has made their trademark. If they have abandoned style for utility, then this thing had better...

Convincing of what? That some jerk is trying to convince us that a no name LCD is the new iMac? Nothing about this picture looks like an apple product, except for the Powerbook box they say this...

Re: Sharing files between a Mac and a Mac via 802.11b/g 442 Views / 2 Replies
Maybe you could try this? Using Rendezvous in iChat, start a chat session with the other computer. Drag the file you want to share into the text line and hit enter. This will send a message to the...

Re: G5 iMac pricing? 6,623 Views / 35 Replies
On the Apple Store (U.S.) they are still selling the "old style" 17" Apple Studio Display for USD $699.00. This may have been what you were seeing.

MacSkinz has been saying that their new products are "coming soon" for months!! I purchased one last December, shortly before they went offline, and have been very happy with it. But I've been...

Believe you me, if Apple hadn't run out of G4 iMacs to sell, we would still be speculating like mad. They wanted to give us a hint of what was coming so folks wouldn't give up and buy some other...

Re: Wireless internet with iBook? 984 Views / 13 Replies
You will need an Airport card if your using a G3 iBook, or an Airport Extreme card if you've got a G4. Any Wi-fi base station will work with these, to the best of my knowledge.

enjoy!

MacSkinz 1,331 Views / 21 Replies
I keep a biohazard MacSkinz on my 14" 933Mhz iBook G4, which I take off everytime I fly. I don't care to risk having security zero in on the biohazard symbol as a reason to delay an already lengthy...

Re: Dilemma: max out current ibook, or sell for a 12" 651 Views / 4 Replies
I don't think you'll see a big speed boost by moving to a 1Ghz 12" G4 over your current machine. For your money, I think maxing out your RAM, and putting an Airport card in your G3 is the better...

The Monster cable has a 1/8" mini-jack and a video plug. That's the beauty of it. It's both in one cable.

Monster's iTV link for iBook is different from the one used for the Powerbook. I love mine. It works perfectly! A worthwhile expense. I appreciate that it is 10 feet of cable, and is an...

Re: Do you like your 14's? 2,011 Views / 27 Replies
I love mine, though for portability, the 12 inch would be better. I went for the 14 inch because of the screen size. The 933 is great, with max RAM. It's a little big for use on a plane tray...

Re: Hmm 628 Views / 6 Replies
I had Apple install the max RAM when I ordered my G4 iBook, and I'm getting exactly the same figures. 133Mhz bus speed (as it should be per Apple's listed specs for the G4 iBook), 640MB memory. I...

Re: Why do you think the iMac's are not selling well? What would you change? 6,066 Views / 141 Replies
I have an 800 Mhz 15" iMac FP and absolutely love it. Granted, I'm not a power user, but for my purposes this machine is terrific. I wouldn't change a thing. The 20" FP iMac has me considering an...
