To me going to Mac OS X was like coming home. It was like switching platforms, but to me it was switching back to Macintosh.

I liked Mac OS 8 and 9, but I think System 7.6 was the last "true"...

Try to use a smaller font for the icon labels on the desktop. The icon spacing is related to the font size. Smaller font size results in smaller icon spacing.

I think that the new Mail toolbar is better than the one in Panther. The new icons represent buttons, that's good because they are buttons.

Never copy fonts into /System/Library/Fonts - that folder should only contain the fonts provided by the OS.

If you want all users to use the font, move it into the folder /Library/Fonts
