The DVI connection should be better with no image distortion. I setup a dell ultrasharp 17" with DVI this weekend and it looked superb. No pixel issues, great contrast and excellent viewing angles....

No problems here on a dual 2.5. The update installed smoothly and everything is fast. Also, the fan revs seem to occur less and they are more gradual. Constant fan noise level is the same.
