As long as the OS 9 install CD is a retail version, and not a machine/model specific version of an install disk, it will install what is required on the PB as opposed to a desktop model.

Do you have the original Wallstreet booklets that came with the PB? The procedure is spelled out in them. Remove all power sources, AC and battery and any peripherals, then reset the power manager....

I've used Logitech and Kensington trackballs. The Logitech design is nice, but it doesn't fit my hand properly. The Kensington is fantastic. The best thing you can do is try before you buy.

If I remember correctly, there is a difference between Wallstreet and Pismo RAM. There won't be a fix for that stick. You will need to get Wallstreet compatible RAM.
