Be sure not to confuse Pixadex iContainers and CandyBar iContainers. Sometimes they have the same icon, thus the confusion, but Pixadex iContainers don't load into ShapeShifter...

SS will only slow down your apps at launch time, so it can patch the app's UI on-the-fly. Once loaded, the app won't be any slower than without SS. But we're talking seconds here, nothing really...

The only thing that bugs me immediately is the thickness of the white stroke that you have around titlebars, menus, etc. Can you make it thinner by a few pixels? It bugs...
