It's weird, none of them seem to have Huge icons (as indicated by Iconographer) but some seem to resize and others just disappear around 44 pixels.

The only real "must have" feature I have seen in 2004 compared to v.X is proper unicode support. If you work with other character sets you may have noticed that v.X doesn't handle them correctly...

Different from what? The education discount also applies to the BTO options. The ADC discount might be better than the educational one but that doesn't mean the educational one isn't there.
