No, ATI don't make graphics cards that use shared memory. It's a mistake in the advertising... It's probably a 7500 Mobility (M7) or a M6 in there.

The best drive for performance would be the 60GB 7200RPM IBM/Hitachi 7K60 hdd. However, I settled for an 80GB 4200 RPM drive which is exceptionally quiet and fast (due to the extremely high density)....

Yeh, I'm sure it's not in the software. I reset the pram, went into OF and reset everything, I checked the balance in OS X. It's the same behaviour (right speaker not working) in both OS X and Linux....
