Hm is that true? You can try to change settings in Firewall preferences and do a "ipfw list" to observe the change of the ruleset. I say it's still using ipfw as backend.

It's very annoying - I'm using a new MBP and the full brightness is simply too bright for me. Leopard seems to randomly forget my brightness setting every now and then after sleep/wakeup cycles....

Weird thing is this same .bash_profile...
