Sure enough, it's just out of warranty.

I hope it is not interference coming from a neighbor, otherwise he is probably producing enough radiation to be able to run a radar station. ;)

That's what I thought too, but nothing in the room has changed since I got my iBook over a year ago. It has happend about four times in the last two days and I haven't used it outside since then....

I think the green line is software related. So if that one stuck pixel doesn't bother you, just keep your new ti. Apple might not change the screen anyway.

The new CPU with it's larger cache makes it faster by about 30% in most applications.

32 MB vram makes a huge difference to the standard 8 MB in the 600, plus the new Ati handles 3D better...
