Yes, seems to. I've let it sleep for a day before answering this, and on wake it seems to be fine. However, I've always found sleep to be flaky on the wallstreet so I don't expect too much from 10.3....

One way of getting a hard disk to boot into OS X when all else has failed is to boot off an OS 9 cd and run System Disk...
