The brightness problem is fixed, I found it under the ATI Color Settings.

The first problem's still there though.

I hooked up my 20" Cinema Display to my PC today using the Apple DVI to ADC Adapter.

The results are beautiful, the 1600x1050 resolution of the display was automatically recognized by Windows XP....

It's the only Powermac I've ever had, but my Quicksilver 2002 933Mhz Powermac has not given me even any problems in 18 months of use.

It's quiet, unobtrusive and fast, and the case is very nice.
