Personally, I don't have a problem with the right side fan by the power plug being on all the time. I have a problem with how loud it is. Mine sounds like a blow dryer.

I've been leading a thread on this very topic. FWIW- My 1GHZ PowerBook does the same thing. The right fan comes on for no apparent reason (ie. no heat/low cpu usage) and stays on longer than I think...

This time I tested both the 1ghz and my old 550. Recorded with Peak on both machines, but with the 1Ghz machine throttled down in the energy saver.
At 17:15 both back fans kick on at ther same time....
