I can watch the stream ok (PB G4 1.33 with 768MB) but I find that if I view it double-size, it becomes rather jerky. Play it normal size and it's fine. QT7 has, so far, been a bit of a disappointment...

Tiger is sending passwords -encypted-.

If your Samba server is not set for encrypted passwords, Tiger cannot authenticate to it.

The line you want in smb.conf is:

Hmmm. Now you mention it, there _is_ a DiVX codec there. I think it's the ffmpeg one but I'm not sure. I'll try removing it and see what happens.
