There is absolutely no point ripping a 44khz source (CD audio) to 48khz, it's just extra work for no gain whatsoever. Also note ripping at 48khz may cause incompatibility with some portable players...

It's supposed to be the same speed from what i can tell, but it was a little laggier than tiger. Keep in mind my system is very marginal (1ghz 12" Powerbook, 32MB Geforce 5200 - just barely coreimage...

i downloaded opera mini (it's free) and it's better than i would have expected! it's just a j2se app, it works with /. digg etc great. just wish i could find a web based msn messenger that will work....
