Yes I have the 1900XT. I have played much more COD2 and UT2k4 than Doom3 or Quake 4 at this point but I do play on playing much more Quake 4.

I think you need speakers with an optical input, like my Z-5500's, to work. If the speakers have no optical inputs there is no way I know of for you to get 5.1 out of your Mac with them.
