I haven't burned any DVD's since upgrading to Panther. Have been trying tonight and all I get is this power calibration error from iDVD. Apple and non Apple brands give me this error.

I had the same issue. I used Apple's BackUp 2.0 to do the back up every night. Seems to be something weird with these mail boxes becasue it doens't back them up right.

I just did some testing. First time it took 8 times with Expose. Second time I did it 20 times and not lock up. Third time took about 10 times to lock up.

I have a 1st gen DirecTivo and a EyeTV. The quality of the tivo is unbeatable. I did hack mine to do the video extraction. Its a PITA, its much easier to just hook my DV cam to the RCAs of the tivo....

And apparently iDVD doesn't burn to DVD-RW. I was able to get a DVD-RW mounted on the desktop but iDVD would just spit it out.
