No, I don't think the Mac OS X will handle ext2/3 (not last I tried anyhow). However, my Fedora Core 3 system can mount a Mac OS X HFS+ firewire drive no problem.... it "just works".

You could try connecting it to a Windows or Linux PC, format it there, then perhaps the Mac will "see" the drive. Format it as FAT32.

Can you see the drive in Apple System Profiler or in Disk...

Sounds like a very old Cirrus Logic card. This should be supported in Xorg.

Do your best guess at configuring it with whatever tools MDK provides. Then take a look in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file....

Yeah... I am kinda interested. Looks like vsdbutil is sort of problematic in itself. Essentially if you turn off privs on the disk it becomes somewhat meaningless who or what root is... it makes...
