I ust got a message saying my 80GB harddrive is almost full when I looked last week I had 65used GB not it is almost 80? I haven't added anywhere near 14 GB.
I had a quick look in folders to see what was going on - the only thing that looks odd is the itunes library in the music folder says it has 27.69GB but my itunes app shows me having just about 13GB of music and podcasts combined - my ipod is up todate , confirms this and has everything on it amounting to just 13 GB's .
What should I do?

I agree that its probably a log file that's gone crazy but if you want to see what files are taking up what space download a copy of WhatSize
It will produce a listing of files sorted by space on your drive and you can then see for sure where your space went.

The solution for something like this can usually be found between the screen and the chair!
