after waiting about 3 months to get my refers and everything, i finally had the UPS truck show up at my door today.

i have been checking my account everyday for the past 3 weeks, and just kept seeing "Sent to vendor, waiting on product" and i was starting to wonder about it.

but when i opened that box today, especially not thinking it was an iPod, i was happy as shite.

i didn't realize the 20 gig was so tiny... awesome!

That's what hotmail accounts are for.

How does this free-ipod scheme work?
_,.
a solitary firefly flies at nite
into the darkness an endless flight
a million flashes of delight.

Wait, so this free iPods thing is actually for real?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

The ad revenue they're making is more than making up for it.

yeah i know a bunch of people who did it and it works... also on g4techtv the screen savers: they had an episode where they called the head of the company and discussed it with him... i think they have the video on the site somewhere

yea, it is for real... but be careful, one mistake and you will get nothing. I signed up, signed up for an offer, then got my wife to sign up and she signed up for an offer, then i got four others to sign up, but THEN i read the small print. you cannot have two email addresses coming from the same house address. me and my wife both live at the same house, so we have the same address. so anyway, the small print says, "we're not going to tell you when you screw up, but after you get all five people to sign up under you and get them all signed up for an offer, then we'll tell you that you broke the rules and aren't getting an iPod." So anyway, that sucked. And they wont reply to anything you say about it, so I was pretty much screwed. it wasn't much time and energy for an iPod, but it was way too much for nothing.

I just don't have time for these schemes.
Even if it works, it would cost me days to solicitate people and follow up. One mistake, and you are screwed...
