Hi all,

I have just purchased a 19in widescreen display for my 12 in powerbook (not core duo). I have a few questions about it.

After hooking it up, I get some apparent horizontal scan lines across my 19in screen, anyone had this issue before?

Also, is there just a way to have to mac display turn off, and only run on my 19in?

Thanks

1. Could be a problem with the monitor, the video card in your powerbook, or the connection between the two. Most likely it's the cable/connection between your computer and monitor.

2. Close the lid.

for your second question...

close your powerbook and plug in a mouse or keyboard to trigger the powerbook on while closed. after the initial trigger you can then open your powerbook and use its keyboard and trackpad if you want.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)
