i don't know if this is an OSX thing or a Macbook thing, but it's certainly annoying. even when I'm plugged in on AC power, the screen dims after a very brief period of no keyboard activity. this is supremely annoying when I'm watching a video. How can I get rid of this "feature"?

thank you
yakov.

Look at "Energy Saver" in "Preferences". This setting should be under the "Options" tab.

Actually, under Energy Saver/Options, you need to unselect the box that asks you if you want to "dim the display before sleeping" or something to that effect. I was getting annoyed by the same issue and figured out that that checkbox was the culprit.
