I'm trying to get rid of the track numbers before all the track names in my Music Library. I remember seeing the option to add the track numbers but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone help?

You can turn off/on this feature in the IMPORT preferences of iTunes.

If you want to get rid of track numbers in the title description/filename, you could write yourself a tiny AppleScript to do that automatically for you. Or you check the following website, perhaps someone already developed such an AppleScript:

Thank you! It was staring me right in the face the whole time. Actually after deselecting that feature it asks me if I want to update my library and automatically updated the library. Thanks again
