Hi,

Sometimes it would be good to be able to show a client what is going on on my screen when I'm doing some Photoshop work.

I'm hoping a combination of VNC and iChat would do the trick.

Will iChat still give me voice over broadband when I'm actually working in Photoshop and iChat is in the background?

Thanks

Simon

I too would love to transfer my screen through iChat. I think this would be very useful to my clients.

Unfortunately there isn't any way you can do that at this time AFAIK. The only workaround is to put iSight in front of your screen.

Yes, iChat will continue to send audio while it's in the background. As for sending images of your screen, VNC is a great way to do it. Another possibility is Apple Remote Desktop. Don't turn your iSight onto your screen, that's just annoying.

If it were me, I'd just use Snapz Pro and make a quick little Quicktime video of what I'm trying to demostrate. Then I'd simply email them the video clip to review. It's a very quick process and provides the highest level of quality.

Thanks guys, that's good news.

Any recommendations on a VNC client/server?

Thanks again

ckohler,

Thanks but it needs to be 'live'.
