Hi,
I have three Quicksilver G4s and three new G5s, and I am in the process of setting them up for a media lab. I need to set up the public user so that each computer has the same preferences.
I am going to take the time and set window sizes, aliases, some application preferences, energy prefs, etc. so they work best with the monitors, hardware and user needs.
What is the best way to do all this work once, then copy it to the other five computers? I was thinking that I could copy the first computer's usr/lib/pref files (about 70MB), and then simply copy them over on the other computers. All computers will have the same hardware and software on them.
Does anyone have a better solution?
Thanks,
