I can't seem to change the 'File/Folder Icons in Menu' settings. Selecting different options does not trigger the 'Apply' button and I am unable to turn off the icons.

Anyone else got this problem?

Yep. I have the same problem and noticed it right away. I tried just changing something else as well to get the apply button active, but after hitting apply, the icons were still there. I think its officially a bug...

In other news... Thank you Unsanity for changing the icon!!! Now, what about that APE icon?!? (Consumerist American who is never satisfied).

Anyone have a word on this yet? I emailed Unsanity support about this and have yet to hear back from them. I'd really like to leave FruitMenu enabled, but the icons are starting to annoy me.

Works fine for me. FruitMenu > Settings > Application Menu is an Icon Clicking it off and on works and both activate the Apply button.

Thats not what we are talking about. The issue we are talking about is under the settings tab entitled "File/Folder Icons In Menu: xxxx"

I thought you were talking about "show the application as an icon instead of text" in the menubar option. Sorry.

I had to trash my old prefs and start again to get them to show at all. Haven't tried turning them back off, though.

I have the same issue, and didn't have a previous install of FruitMenu.

Must say though, this is a really nice tool. Can't believe I've never bothered to try it out before.

Randman, is this really working for you? You seem to be the only one who has it working. Do you have any other APE's installed? Did you do an upgrade or fresh install? Are you running this on 10.3.8?

Running on 10.3.8. Using latest version of APE and each app. Have FruitMenu, DockDetox, Silk, ShapeShifter and WindowShadeX. This is a relatively new install as I had to have the HD replaced on my PB in mid-February. I went ahead and did a clean install over a backup.
