I have been trying to burn my DVD for a long time now. I have followed all the steps of creation, and I have 4.mov files and 3 .avi files in my project. They're all my own personal videos. Everything should be supported but everytime the burn process finishes encoding the menus, it pops up with the same error:

ERROR DURING TRACK INITIALIZATION
There was an error during track initialization and iDVD cannot continue burning this DVD (the disc has not been touched yet!). Please select 'Delete Encoded Assets' from the Advanced-menu and try burning this project again.

i have tried fixing it a few ways and nothing works. I have almost 5 GB available on my computer and a 4.7GB blank DVD in the Superdrive of my powerbookG4.
Any advice?

Free up at least twice the amount you have now. 5gb is not enough to allow OS X and iDVD to operate safely.
