Hello all,

Modmini has published our rundown of the Intel mini, inlcuding some details I don't think have been published anywhere else.

Interesting claim:
"While the GMA950 fully supports Core Video and will play World of Warcraft better than the Radeon"

Integrated graphics have never, I repeat, NEVER lived up to the performance promised.

Funny thing - pretty much NO tests out there actually compare the GMA950 against the 9200 on otherwise like hardware. The two are just far enough apart, generation-wise, that the tests of each don't even use the same *games*. What little commonality we found in independant tests suggests that the GMA950 will outperform the 9200.

Not by much, perhaps. But time will bear that out.

I'm hope barefeats grabs one of each and puts them through the same tests.

Sorry, but I cant take any website seriously which publishes stuff that looks like it was written either by a 12 year old, or for a 12 year old.

"So, where does all of this take us? For mom and pop, the Core Solo mini will deliver nicely on teh Snappy™"
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

Thank you for the feedback. In writing this article we chose to take a more informal and fun tone. Perhaps we overshot the mark in using a phrase popular on the 'net forums.

Cheers,
-Andrew
