So I let a friend play with the iBook and came back to find he was encoding a 1500 slide DVD and the iBook had run out of space.

I stopped the encoding / deleted rendered objects / rebooted.

But I still am missing 4Gb of space.

Can anyone tell me where to go to start deleting temp files created by iDVD?

Thanks!

Try using Cocktail.

The app you need is WhatSize - it can tell you what files are taking up that space.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
