Step 2: Type in "Mac wma to mp3"
Step 3: Look for the most likely hit (hint: easywma)
Step 4: Repeat

iTunes can do WMA->MP3 and WMA->AAC conversion... just import the WMA files and let it go.

No, iTunes can NOT. (On the Mac. The Windows version can, since it can leverage the system's built-in WMA support.)
There is no free solution for the Mac, except *maybe* the VLC media player.

I ended up installing iTunes on my MBP just to convert WMA to MP3...lol
