In case you haven't seen it:
Story.
Video.

I knew he was a talent-less, unfunny hack but damn…
Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

I've already said on some other boards how I'd feel like total tuna balls had this happened to me. *He stabbed the throttle twice as he neared the wall, you can hear it. That's not Civic horsepower he's feeding in there. That's EnzoPower.* He seemed to be understeering pretty bad as he approaced the concrete wall. As long as nothing interfered with the car besides Mr. Griffin, I'd say he was real dumb for driving like such an idiot. The guy whose car it was gets recognition as well for making it all possible. I read something about his other rides getting uffed up while filming the lame ass movie they've been making where Porsche Carrera GTs spin through the air and whatnot.

"Eddie, go put on a show for the fans buddy!" isn't something I'd ever say while handing the keys to my Enzo over to someone. Any Eddie. Not even if my best friend's name was Eddie.

and his quote about how "the brother can't drive" is awful too. I'd have puked on my shoes after crashing it, and they wouldn't have needed a quote.

* EDIT: unless someone thinks they're just throttle blips on the downshift(which the car would actually do automatically)?

The SMT will throttle blip if he was downshifting (I haven't seen the video, but if Griffin was already out of control at that point, I don't think his "experience" will be capable of actually downshifting). My guess is that an Enzo would't have a fully auto mode on the SMT transmission.... but I could be wrong.

A few people have commented this could be a publicity stunt.

I'd agree if it weren't a limited production car involved.

But it is an enzo. That said it'd be worse if it had been a veyron.

no publicity stunt. you don't go crashing enzos to give your movie credibility.

Jury's still out, but I think I'd rather have an Enzo over a Veyron just because. More pure. (I thought that was your thing, Ca$h?)

any way you look at it, he was a nimrod.

I saw Top Gear's profile on the Enzo. I've never seem them gush over a car so much.
